Blending historical photos with their contemporary counterparts.

The Grand Theatre in Downtown Grand Island was fitted with it’s new sign on March 1, 2012 - a sign that replicated it’s original sign from 1937. When the weather warms up, beautiful art deco tile will be attached to the facade.
Jim Pohl created this wonderful blend of the present and the future Grand Theatre.

This is Greenshutters Cottage in East Hagbourne, in Oxfordshire County, England. It’s just lovely. The black & white image is a sketch of the cottage found inside a book that was found in an art exhibition in the village in 1916. Unsure of when the sketch was actually done though. Both images are courtesy of Ernie Hartley.
Blendiferous welcomes submissions! If you don’t know how to create a blend, we’ll do it for you! All we need is an old image and a new image taken from approximately the same angle. Email both of them to Blendiferous!
